Local Information
Famous for it's location at the hub of the Great Lakes, it's famous Locks and International Bridge, and the best Italian food this side of Italy, Sault Ste. Marie is a vibrant city with a population of 75,000. The community boasts a perfect mix of big city style combined with a feeling of small town charm.
'The Sault', as it's called by locals, is easily accessible by car as it is located at the halfway point of the Trans-Canada highway. It is also located right across from Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan allowing our American friends easy access to our area's natural beauty and bountiful amenities.

What to Expect: Weather
Sault Ste. Marie's average temperate in July is 24 °C / 75 °F. However, temperatures can exceed 30 °C / 86 °F so be sure to properly hydrate before and during the event. Plan for a wide range of temperatures in selecting proper dress for race day.
